Daniel Wayne “Jack” Krula, born on November 1, 1964, in Elmhurst, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly and was received into his eternal home with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 6, 2025, in San Tan Valley, Arizona.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rhonda Krula; his children, Jordan (Corrie) Krula and Brittney (Michael) Baumgartner; and his cherished grandchildren, Lydia and Adeline Krula, and Michael Jr., Daniel, and Hayden Baumgartner. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Exline, and nieces Jessica Cifuentes, Melissa Hoekstra, and Kristin Churchman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Marie Krula, and his brother, David Krula.
Dan grew up in Mendota, Illinois, where he spent his early years surrounded by family and friends. He attended Wheaton Academy High School and later graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Drama. It was in Upland that Dan met the love of his life, Rhonda—who, by God’s providence, became his hairdresser.
The two were married in 1987 and began their family the following year in Carol Stream, Illinois. They spent many wonderful years raising their children in Batavia, Illinois, before relocating to San Tan Valley, Arizona, where Dan spent the last 17 years of his life.
In Arizona, Dan proudly founded and operated his own successful business, Dan’s Plumbing. For him, it was more than a job—it was a mission. Customers were more than a work order; they were someone to serve, to listen to, and (if they let him) to share a joke with while tightening a pipe. He was known not only for his craftsmanship but also for his personal touch.
Dan will be remembered for his friendly banter, quick wit, and the way he made every gathering feel truly special. His laughter and charming spirit drew people in, and his welcoming nature made new acquaintances feel like fast friends.
In lieu of flowers, we ask family and friends to consider donating to Love Justice International (https://www.lovejustice.ngo/), a cause close to Dan’s heart.
