David was born July 2, 1935, to Fred Eugene Hall & Eurie Mae Retallick in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
On February 12, 1955, he married the love of his life, Betty Jean Coffman in Tempe, Arizona. They were married 59 beautiful years before she preceded him in death in 2014.
He is survived by his three sons, David Michael (Becky) Hall, Randy Dean (Mariann) Hall, and Kurt Brandon Hall. He has 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Eric Hall, Sarah (Matthew) Bodzioch - (Vander & Brody), Elizabeth (Gabriel) Rubio - (Roman, Vida), Brian (Holly) Hall, Kimberly (Tristan) Beck - (Eden, Rosalie), Nicole Fane - (Jakob, Riley, Ian), Brandon Hall, Bethany (John) Hammer - (Caleb, Brock, Makenzie), Danielle (Derek) Kogut -(Peyton, Ethan, Henry, Elouise).
David held many jobs during his lifetime. He worked on the first 5 miles of Rt 60 off Interstate 10 in Arizona installing sprinklers. He also installed sprinklers with his brother-in-law, Kenneth (Bud) Coffman. He enjoyed being a custom upholsterer and worked for many years as a Maintenance Supervisor at Oregon Bible College. He & Betty also traveled the United States doing hearing testing for TK Group.
He loved Arizona and the sunshine. He would sit outside for hours (occasionally napping). When commenting about the Arizona beauty – he would look at the Superstition Mountains and say, “That’s an impressive rock.”
David also loved Mexican food!!!! If you told him, “You can’t eat Mexican food every day” He would answer “WHY NOT?” 😊
He had a quick wit and good sense of humor. He did a cute little funny thing with his mouth that many in his family adopted as “The Hall Face.”
David was kind and gentle and he loved God. He was a faithful church goer until his physical capabilities didn’t make that possible.
He will rest in peace until we see him again when Jesus returns to set up the kingdom. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
