Dennis Ray Hochstetler of Phoenix, AZ, passed away November 28, 2015 in at the age of 66. He was born June 16, 1949 in Ashland, Wisconsin to Benjamin and Romana Agnes [Reas] Hochstetler. Dennis met the love of his life, Robyn, during his college years in Ashland, Wisconsin; they would later be married in 1974. Dennis and Robyn both served in the U.S. Army and were stationed at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona before being transferred to Alaska in 1981, then eventually moving back to Arizona in 2010. Dennis enjoyed golfing, watching old western movies; fellowshipping weekly at the Philadelphia Church of God in Scottsdale, Arizona where he worshipped. Later on in life, Dennis became blind and was determined to prove he still had his independence, but what brought him the most joy in his life was his family. Dennis is survived by his children Jimi, Poppy, Wolf, Zachary, Grace and Ezra; his father Ben; and his sisters Pam, Patty and Linda. A committal service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422
