He was born in Caliente, Nevada on May 12, 1944. Dewayne graduated from Wallace High School and received a Bachelor's degree in Business from Lewis & Clark University.
He was married to Penny J. Chambers on October 13, 1971 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Dewayne worked as a International Mining Manager. He had a passion for sports, fly fishing, travel, story-telling, dancing, and his family and friends.
Dewayne is survived by his wife, Penny J. Chambers; His daughter, Charity A. Chambers; His granddaughter Avery J. Fisher and grandson Daniel J. Fisher, Jr.; His siblings Naomi Ballard, Bob Chambers, and Kenneth Chambers.
