Dolores Helen Collins

She was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda; parents, Louis and Gertrude Gettler, several beloved brothers and sisters: Joseph, Joyce, Dorothy, Norma, Marie, Yvonne and Bernard.

She is survived by her soul mate and husband, Bob Collins of Mesa, AZ; son Robert {Karie} Anderson;

daughters; Rose {Lee} Simanek, Julie {Donald} Lawrence, Pam {Dennis} Hehl; step daughters Sharon

{Alan} Grosshans, Kendall {Robert} Kelley; grandchildren Josh {Laura} Pederson, Jennah {Viju} Thomas, Lindsey {Jake} Friberg, Joe Anderson; step grandchildren Andrew and Bryan Grosshans, Sean and Courtney Kelley; two great grandchildren Vivyannah Thomas and Max Friberg;brother Louis (Mary) Gettler and sisters Darlene Borton and Carol (Bob) Marsolek, former son-in-law Ralph Pederson and many special friends.

Dolores was a woman of great faith who accomplished many of her dreams. She was adventuresome, ambitious, creative and had a great business sense. She loved crafts, gardening, flowers, animals, and nature walks in her beloved Arizona desert.

She was a woman of deep conviction and was passionate about God and family. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Funeral services for Dolores Collins will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church 1244 S. Power Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206 on November 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. Reception will follow.
