Dolores Y. Corral, age 74, of Florence, AZ (formerly of Kearny, Arizona) passed away on August 24, 2020. Dolores was born in Miami, Arizona on September 8, 1945 to Miguel and Camille Yniguez. Dolores married Albert G. Corral, known to many as "Satch", on July 7, 1962. Dolores and Albert had been married for 52 years at the time of his passing.
Dolores was very fond of gardening and had a beautiful yard full of rosebushes. All colors of the rainbow which grew even in Arizona's dry climate could be found in her garden. She also enjoyed cooking, especially tamales a tradition she and her husband undertook making every December like an assembly line. She would bake cakes for her children for every birthday. Holidays were festive and her Christmas decorations grew more elaborate by the year. While her parents were alive, Dolores always went all out for Thanksgiving dinners, entertaining a house brimming with family and love. She also had a passion for collecting clocks and would never pass up an occasion to buy a new wind chime or Christmas decoration.
Dolores took initiative to better support the lives of her children by enrolling in dental assistant program in the early seventies. She worked for the dental office in Kearny for several years. After a brief period during which she cared for her ailing brother, she started working for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office as a supply technician until her retirement.
Preceding Dolores in death are her mother Camille, father Miguel, and brother Miguel Jr "Pelon" Yniguez, great- grandmother Paula Leyba, beloved Aunt Gloria and close cousins Thelma and Arnold Gonzales. She is now rejoicing being in their presence once again.
Dolores is survived by her daughter Gina of Tempe, son Albert of Kearny, son Christopher of San Tan Valley, granddaughter Camille Humphrey of Bethel, AK, grandson Stephen of Mesa, grandson Jonathan of Tucson, and great-grandson Caleb Kirk Humphrey of Bethel, AK.
