By 1976 they had joined a partnership with Edward and Ginger Mallory in a Land Development Construction Company. Don always loved to go to work. He would say, “I can’t wait to get out there and get on a machine. I love my job!
In 1982, they thought they would tryout being “Snowbirds”. They loved Arizona so much that they sold their house in Washington and settled here in Mesa. Don soon found that he had another passion … Golf. He enjoyed it so much that he became one the original Golf Club Member, a long time Pro Shop employee, served on the board of the Golf Association. The first thing people noticed about Don was his sense of humor, laugh and his smile.
