He was born on November 4, 1928, in Baker, Montana, the third of 4 children to Guy Noble and
Evelyn Marie (Gregersen) Wilson. He was raised in Shelby, MT, moved to Seattle, WA, and then joined
the USAF, where he served honorably for 4 years. He married Mary Florence Collins with whom he
had five children. He received his baccalaureate degree in electrical engineering from the University
of Texas in Austin and worked in engineering/quality assurance for two major high technology
companies. He later married Jane L Farrow and, after retirement they moved to Prescott Valley, until
September of 2015 when they relocated to Mesa, Az..
Donald enjoyed photography, technology, swimming, was a master craftsman, very inquisitive, loved
listening to opera and classical music and loved traveling. He also really loved and cared for his rescue
dog Mollie.
Donald is survived by his wife Jane Wilson; children Guy Douglas Wilson (Leslie), Ginger Ann
Mackinson, Mark Noel Wilson (Caren), Teri Lynn Wilson Read (Terry), Karen Sue Woodruff (Matt),
Scott Vincent Farrow, Susan Garton Farrow; sister Margaret Smith; 16 grandchildren, 6 great
grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in
Mesa, AZ. Internment will be at a future date at Prescott National Cemetery. Arrangements are
entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa, AZ.
