Dorothy L. Daley of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2019. Dorothy was born on June 3, 1929, in Ashland, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Ethel (Pfeifer) Lehnard. She attended Spencerian Business College in Duluth, Minnesota.
Dorothy moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and worked for many years at the Foley & Lardner Law firm as a legal secretary. She married the love of her life, James Daley on May 2, 1953, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Milwaukee. Lived in Brown Deer for 33 years and moved to Mesa, Arizona, in 1993.
Dorothy was a member of the Brown Deer Lioness Club and throughout her life actively volunteered at church and within the communities she lived.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Janet Colleen Daley, five sisters and one brother.
Survivors include sons, William (Anne) of Mesa, Arizona, and David, of Hudson, Wisconsin; grandchildren Patrick, Katherine, Sophia and Brendan; great-grandchildren Hannah, Daniel, and Lily; sister-in-law, Geraldine Hake, Owatonna, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Edward Gustafson, Leisure World, Mesa, Arizona; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ. Burial will be at St. Catherine of Alexandria Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI on September 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
