Born in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines on March 10, 1951, to Feliciano and Benita Javinal, Edgardo migrated with his family to Guam as a young adult, where he lived for many years before relocating to Arizona. He dedicated over 50 years to a career in repair maintenance. On May 19, 1979, he married Carmelita Silva Javinal in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who enjoyed gardening, bowling, and spending quality time with his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Feliciano and Benita Javinal, and his sister, Ellen Pamplona.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carmelita Silva Javinal; his daughter, Elaine Silva Javinal Lopez; son-in-law Marvin Lopez; his grandchildren, Mason Lopez and Ella Mae Lopez; and his siblings, Evelyn Romero, Emelinda (Vener) Silva, Elizabeth (Diosdado) Calapiz, Ernesto (Ma Magdalena) Javinal, and Elvie Baquilod. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends across the United States, Guam, and the Philippines.
Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 400 S Power Rd, Mesa, Arizona 85206, as follows:
- Visitation: August 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Funeral Services & Celebration of Life: August 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
