Edith Zitha Williams

Edith Williams, 88, born April 1, 1923, in Primero, Colorado , a long time resident of Fairview passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her home in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her husband, George L. Williams, sons; David L. Williams, Joseph G. Williams and daughter Patrisha J. Gavurnik. She is survived by her children, George L. Williams, Jr. (Kathy), Connie Conover (John), Marty Serwatowski (Jeff), Winifred Williams, Louisa Boyte (Michael), Wanda Worrell (Lynn), Gail Richley (Jim), daughter-in law, Josie Williams and son in law, Dan Gavurnik.

Nine grandchildren, Michelle Miller, Paul Williams, Leevi Williams Jr, Ian Maestas, Jeffrey Williams, Stephanie Garcia, Jason Williams, Melissa Richley and Brian Richley. Ten Great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Miller, Jonathan Williams, Tyler Miller, Lucia Williams, Kaleb Miller, Carmen Williams, Jessica Williams, Adrian Maestas, David Williams III, and Trinity Rose Garcia and many other relatives and friends.

She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and an amazing friend who enriched the lives of those who knew her. The past six years she resided in Mesa, Arizona in the loving care of her grandchildren, Stephanie and Tres Garcia.

Memorial Service will be held on April 16, 2011 at 1:00PM at the DeVargas Funeral Home, in Espanola, NM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Banner Hospice, 275 E. Germann Road, Suite 100, Gilbert, AZ 85297.
