Edward was born on May 15, 1935 to Margaret Gertrude Ross and Edward Coke Bruner in Detroit, Michigan. After Ed graduated from Niles High School in 1953, he served in the Army during the Korean War. Following his time in the service, he completed a 4 year apprenticeship, as an electrician, at U.S. Steel.
In 1952, he met his one and only, Barbara Barger. They married in 1954 and cherished their 60 years together. Ed and Barbara were blessed to have 2 children, Fred and Julie (Mario) Langoni. Ed was a proud Grandpa to J.T. (Becky) Langoni and a devoted Great Grandpa (G.G.) to Penny and Frankie.
Ed was predeceased by his parents Margaret & Ed, stepdad Fred Buschell, son Fred and wife Barbara. He is survived by his sisters: Rica Semones, Jean (Larry) Tabor and Mary Buschell.
Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1:00. A celebration of his life will follow at "On the Green."
