Edward "Ed" Michael Foley

Edward “Ed/Eddie” Michael Foley died unexpectedly in his home on August 28th, 2015 in Cave Creek, AZ at the age of 61. Ed is survived by his mother, Glee; children, Trina and Alissa; and siblings, Pat, Mary Beth, Nancy, and David. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Patrick Foley.

Ed was born on September 9th, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Glee and Edward Foley. Ed grew up in Trenton, MI and started off his career as a mechanic. He moved to Sedona in 1980 where he met and married Judy Foley. In their 11 years of marriage they welcomed two children into their life, Trina and Alissa. His children remember him as a kind-hearted and hard working father who always encouraged them to pursue their goals and supported their dreams.

Ed was an accomplished musician, playing his guitar and singing whenever he had the chance. Apart from his musical talents, he was a gifted artist and he left behind a multitude of beautiful paintings. He was a generous individual who jumped at the opportunity to help others and was always there for his friends and children.

A funeral is scheduled for Sunday September 6th, 2015 at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park with a reception to follow at 525 N. Val Vista Dr. #62 Mesa, AZ 85213. Chad Johnson will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ed’s life. The family would like to thank their family and friends for their support during this time.
