

Elaine Elsie Berlusconi Campbell passed away peacefully on May 24th 2026 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born on August 22, 1939, to Enes and Joseph Berlusconi in Bronx, New York, where she lived with her sister, Lorraine and large extended Italian family.
In 1960 she married James Campbell. They raised two daughters, and a son in the Village of Pleasantville, New York. She enjoyed a career as an executive secretary.
Elaine was known for her talent in the kitchen especially her Italian family recipes. Family and friends treasured Sunday dinner and holiday meals at her table.
She was active in her children’s schools and activities, always supporting the performing arts. In 1994 Elaine and James retired to Mesa, Arizona.
Elaine attended St. Bridgette’s church where she also served as a Eucharistic minister. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, card nights with family & friends, music, Broadway shows, decorating for Christmas, reading and was a diehard New York Yankees fan.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, James Campbell; her daughter Carolyn Wilson and husband Kenneth; daughter Maribeth Fuhrmann and husband David; and son James Campbell and wife, Anne Huarte.
Elaine was a deeply loving grandmother to Kristin Bonnichsen and husband Cory; Katie Wilson and fiancé Adam Rady; Erika Fuhrmann; Kurt Fuhrmann and wife Carly; and Oscar Campbell. She was also the cherished “Noni” to her adored great-grandchildren, Keira and Callie Bonnichsen.
Elaine also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and who held a special place in her heart.
Elaine leaves more than memories — she leaves a legacy seasoned with love, service, and family. It is the kind of legacy that continues to bless everyone who was lucky enough to know and love her.
