

Eleanor J. Gennario, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on January 1, 1930, in Newark, New Jersey, Eleanor lived a life full of dedication to her family and passions.
Eleanor spent over 30 years working for New Jersey Bell, later Verizon, where she built a distinguished career. After residing in Clifton, New Jersey, she retired in 1992 and made the move to Chandler, Arizona, to be closer to her son, Frank and his family.
Beyond her professional life, Eleanor found joy in a variety of hobbies. She was an avid cook, enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a passionate baseball fan, cheering for both the New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Gennario; her brother, Carmine Ucci; and her great-grandchild, Broxton Taylor.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Frank Gennario and his wife Ann Marie, and Robert Gennario and his wife Patty. Eleanor also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kristi Taylor (Kody), Kelsey Gennario, Meghan Jackson (Christopher), Robert Gennario, and Tony Gennario (Adriana). Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Brody Taylor, Haylie Birchman, Brighton Taylor, Christopher Jackson, Hayden Birchman, and Addilyn Jackson. She is also survived by her dear sister, Ann Di Modica.
Eleanor's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
