She was born in Sacramento, California on May 27, 1993, the youngest of 3 children to Roshni Farah Shah. Esrah has lived in Arizona since she was 3, and attended Sanborn elementary School in Chandler, and graduated from Skyline High School. A professional make-up artist, she worked at Sephora, and did film production make up. She loved to paint, whether it was on a face or canvass. She loved her 2 cats “Nina” and “Leia”. A free spirit (or as her family describes her “hippie child,) she was kind, sweet, full of love, bubbly, always smiled and was always positive. When she was 3, she told Farah on a bad day “Don’t worry, Momma, tomorrow’s gonna be a better day,” and she quoted this throughout her life.
Esrah is survived by her mother Farah Shah, father Michael James Butler; sisters Shabana Tariq and her husband Ali, Iqrah Shah; niece Zara Tariq; nephew Zayn Tariq; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to any animal shelter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care in the Cemetery Chapel at 1pm.
Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, Mesa, AZ.
