Born Roseau, MN. Lab tech at VA hospital. Married Sept 1961. Daughter born Aug 1962. Moved to OR 1974 to start company "Signs in Depth". Married 2nd husband in 1980 & helped raise 8 children from his previous marriage. Built 2 homes with the help of her father. The home on the Kilchis river a dream come true. An Apache Junction winter bird; then full time resident. She loved music and "getting dirt under my fingernails". Surrounded by loved ones, she peacefully laid to rest after enduring MS for many years. Diagnosed with lung cancer 8/22/12. Predeased by husband Donald Bruck, mother Mary Bratten (Dunham) and father John Bratten. Survived by sister Bonita Magsam, daughter Joey Klein and stepchildren: Debra Wheeler, Pam Knudson, Mary Beth Bernards, Vicki Lourwood, Jon, Tom, Jeff and Mike Bruck. Graveside service at 1:00 on 2/7/13 at Willamette National Cemetery. Mama, I love you. I will remember you. I will miss you.
