

Ethel Martha Bloedorn passed on June 28, 2026, at the age of 97. She was born on December 22, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Walter and Martha Schwendel. She attended Mt. Calvary High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ethel worked as a dental Technician.
On February 12, 1954 Ethel would marry the love of her life Webster Bloedorn at Mt. Calvary Lutheran in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together they would have five children; Rohm, Heidi, Wayde, Lisa, and Jodi. They began to be snowbirds in 1992, visiting Arizona in the winters and visiting their lake house in Crandon, Wisconsin during the summers. They would permanently retire to Arizona in 2015.
Ethel and Webster loved to volunteer together, they spent time in Haiti, where she was able to assist with the orphanage and helping the local hospital with their medical records. She had a passion for gardening and knitting. She was able to knit over 5,000 baby hats for Hospitals to use in the NICU.
Ethel was preceded by her beloved husband Webster in 2023, her parents Walter and Martha, her brother Fred and sister Lois. She is survived by her 5 children; Rohm (Ginny) Bloedorn, Heidi (Bill) Albrecht, Lisa (Dave) Strobel, Jodi (Kraig) Gland, and Wayde (Andrena) Bloedorn; as well as 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Ethel was known to be a very loving and caring person. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Memorial services will be held at a later date for family and close friends. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Webster at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
