Ferris John Haddad of Beatrice, Nebraska passed away on March 15th, 2018, surrounded by family in Scottsdale, AZ. Ferris lived his life in an extraordinary matter. The greater the challenge, the stronger he was drawn to it. He strived to set goals and exhilarated in their achievements. Every day, Ferris demonstrated the power of passion, hard work, optimism, and fearlessness. He endured many years of setbacks in health, yet always remained faithful to God and exceptionally enthusiastic about the future. He taught indelible lessons to his family who are left with grand memories. Ferris is survived by his children; Ferris John III, Christopher Michael, Mark Andrew, and Nicole Alexandria; his loving former wife, Gail Lynn; and his two sisters, Karem Louise and Renee LeAnn. The following is one of Ferris’ favorite creeds by Calvin Coolidge - “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” To honor Ferris’ wishes, a private ceremony will be held with immediate family in Hawaii. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Marfan Foundation.
