To Frankie - Our Dear Neighbor and Friend
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.
We have been privileged to live, laugh, love & celebrate with Frankie & Cheryl. So many family celebrations, adventures, holidays, parties on the patio, "driveway discussions" and our own regular dinner outings- always with Frankie's Piña Coladas with extra whipped cream... To - many glasses raised & memories cherished.

One of my favorite pictures.... My grandma absolutely loved cats.. 🐈❤️ Hospice normally provides pet services, but due to all that is going on in the world right now those services were suspended. 🌺 Well our amazing hospice social worker Lenny brought this mechanical kitty and my grandma just LOVED IT!!! Most beautiful sight was the look on her face... 💜💜💜💜

I have only known Frankie over the past 3 years as she was enrolled in palliative care and finally under hospice care. She was my weekly “buddy” and we spent many hours looking at books, listening to Elvis Presley, and singing old songs like ”take me out to the ballgame”—she could really belt out that tune! It was clear she enjoyed life and her laugh was certainly precious. I was always impressed with how well she was cared for and I know she appreciated that as well even though she had lost the ability to articulate her feelings and thoughts. Rest In Peace my Friend ❤️

My mom was the best mom ever! I would have to say my best memories of mom are: When I gave birth to my son Kyle which was the Thanksgiving holiday my caring sweet mother brought me a traditional family Thanksgiving to go plate to Mesa Lutheran Hospital. It was extra special as she always was so very thoughtful. The other cherished memory was during the era in 1993 when the Phoenix Suns were on fire. Mom and I had so much fun!
Mom,
I will be strong like you always taught me to be. I know you will be right here close to my heart. One day our family will be all together again and we can rejoice! All my love forever, your daughter Randi♥💜🙏

My mother, my sister and I are privileged to live across the street from Frankie and Cheryl. I don't think I've met two kinder, friendlier people. Frankie was the first one to welcome us to the neighborhood. Cheryl loved her mother deeply, as was evident in the care she provided. She was always so positive and seemed to have endless energy when it came to her mother. I'll miss Frankie, but Cheryl will keep her alive in our hearts with stories she tells us about her. May Frankie rest in peace, and God grant comfort to those mourning the loss of this sweet lady, even Shammie. 💜

I knew Francis as a teen. She never complained about taking care of her husband, with MD. She was always sweet, kind and loving. My niece was a very blessed child and her daughter and husband were too. She had many other family members that were lucky to have her. I havent physically seen her in decades, but thru Kaydee , I knew about what she was going thru with dementia, just like her other gran, my mother. Love and prayers to the family and friends blessed.to have known nanny.

Truly sad times for all of us right now. Though it may be tough and seem impossible to get past the pain, it always feels good to remember the wonderful times in Grandma's life. She will NEVER be forgotten with all the amazing memories she made and shared with us. From Christmas at her house packed wall to wall with gifts or to the trips at Out of Africa zoo I will always have something reminding me of you! I miss you and love you so much Grandma
Love,
Kyle xoxo

Grandma, where do I even begin to express my immense love and respect for you... From the moment I was born you have been an instrumental part of who I am today. Your guidance, strength, and encouragement taught me so much. And the love you have shown for your family, my goodness.
People say 91 years is a long life, "It is" but when you have sacrificed so much, I am sad you never had time for yourself. Literally carrying Grandpa on your back for years through his battle with Muscular Dystrophy showed me what true love is... Caring for your mother "Nanny" through her final years. Followed up by being diagnosed with dementia. You were so healthy no joint replacements, heart surgery or dentures. But had the ultimate battle with Alzheimer's for 12 years. You are the strongest woman I have ever known and a fighter to the end.
You only spoke to me about your final wishes, as death was "NOT" something you ever wanted to talk about including your age of course. I am so honored to have been able to carry out your wishes. I will love you always and forever, Kaydee xoxo
The picture shared was a fun day shared! You were obsessed with watching the elephants. You sure are one in a million Fran!
