Frances Nardi

Frances Nardi, age 80 of Mesa, Arizona was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2008 and lost her battle with the disease June 3rd, 2013. She was born to the late Sebastiano and Louisa Gargiulo as Vincenza Louisa Gargiulo on May 10th, 1933.

Frances worked for a Christian organization in California called Focus on the Family founded by Dr. James Dobson and relocated with the organization to Colorado Springs, Colorado with her son Steven Nardi and retired after 17 years. She then relocated to Mesa Arizona in 2008 shortly after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Frances was a beloved wife of her late husband Richard Nardi. Beloved Mother of Richard Nardi of Mesa, Arizona and Steven Nardi of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Beloved Mother in Law to Sylvia Nardi. Beloved Grandmother to her only grandchild Nicholas Nardi. Beloved Sister to Mary Benoit, Anna East and her late brother Ralph Gargiulo. Beloved Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Beloved Friend to Angelina Spike, Linda Beck and so many others.

Frances was a strong independent women who walked strongly in her Faith with Our Lord Jesus Christ and was devoted to Him until He called her home.

Frances is no longer with us and although we mourn her today we also celebrate her. We celebrate the strong independant women who touched all she came into contact with . . . . with her love, her devotion, her sense of humor, her laughter, and her Love of God. She will always have a place in our hearts. Gone but not forgotton!

Frances will be honored here in Arizona and then she will be laid to rest in New York with her Beloved Mother and Brother.
