Francisco Martinez

Francisco “Papa Chico” Martinez age 67, departed life on April 3rd, 2018. He is survived by 6 children: Amanda, Pedro, Francisco, Leonel, Isabel, and Maria. 22 grandchildren: Miriam, Diana, Cristina, Amanda, Gabriela, Edgar, Pedro, Steven, Johnny, Daniel, Isabela, Delila, Destiny, Jannesa, Victor, David, Monique, Marissa, Natalia, Anthony, and Jacob. With 2 great-grandchildren: Charles and Isabella.

He was born on July 14th, 1950 in Iguala, Mexico. In 1980, he moved to the United States and would go on to reside in many states, including: California, Kansas, Kentucky, and Arizona. He enjoyed dancing, visiting his hometown, and spending time with his family. His family and friends will always remember him as being the life of the party, with his great sense of humor.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery Garden Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 13th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
