Frank G. Danala, resident of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Council Bluffs and Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on May 15, 2020 at Mesa Adult Care Home, at the age of 82 years.

Brief Personal History: Frank G. Danala was born on December 15, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa. Raised in Sioux City, Iowa. Graduated from East High School in January of 1956. He was enrolled in the Army from 1960-1962. He graduated from Bellevue University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts. Frank worked for the Iowa DOT for 41 years as a Material Inspector and retired October of 2000.

Personality Traits: Sweet, goofy, talented, loving father and grandfather.

Current hobbies, hobbies prior to retirement: Paint landscapes, play video games, watch movies.

He will be missed by: Wife: Shirley Graham-Danala Children: Bob and Sandy Davis, Tom Danala Grandchildren: Stefan and Cassandra Quam, Bobby and Liz Davis Grandchildren: Axel and Rayland Bence Others: Jim Danala

He was predeceased by: John Danala Tom and Violet Remer

My thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley and family. My folks and Frank's folks were great friends. We were raised as family and that relationship grew throughout life. He was like a brother . I have lots of special memories of our growing up !! He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather and special friend! My thoughts and prayers for you all as you cherish your memories. Love you!
