Fred O. Curtis, 95, of Mesa passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was born September 30, 1915 in Monkstown, TX. In the intervening 95 years Fred was a husband twice, a father twice, and a friend ten thousand times. He worked as a miner, railroader (for 38 years), and barber, owning his own shop after retiring from the railroad. He was a carpenter, welder, auto mechanic, and all around good fella to know if you had a problem that needed solved. He was a true gentleman.
