To Freddies family and friends, I served with Fred in the Army.  We were room mates and he was my best friend in Germany.  He is truly a good man and a funny guy.  The stories I could tell you.  He was a great guy, he always had a positive outlook.

While reading the Casa Grande Paper I was totally shocked to hear the loss of a friend who would do anything to aide a person in need.  I grew up with Fred in Eloy and often thought of him and his family through the years.  I did not see him too often after I graduated from College and moved away from the Phoenix area, but when I ran into some of our old Eloy buddies I would always ask about him and hope that he was doing well. I know that he truly loved his daughter and wanted to always be there for her.  I can think of many things we used to do in Eloy growing up, but the best thing I remember about Fred was that he was a genuine real person who loved his family and was true to his word.  I offer my sincer condolences to his family and loved ones.  Words can never say how I feel after finding this out.  May God Bless and know that he was truly one of a kind and know that heaven now has a wonderful soul.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing.  The Utz's have been long time friends of the Mutt & Luby Grier family. From Texas to Arizona.  From working at Hanson Pump to play 42 and other Games.  Fred made a legacy for his daughter and family. Debbie, I know that you will miss Fred greatly.  Our love and prayers are with you.

Freddie had a hart of gold, and would have done anything in the world  to help people. We worked close together for several years, he always could bring out a smile and a laugh I will miss him dearly.

I will miss my cousin Freddie. I didn't see much of him after we grew up but growing up together was great. I always loved how he joked with his mom. You knew he loved her through it all. He will be missed.

Sorry for your loss.  Fred and I went through high school together as well as working on Big Jim Duval's crew at Hanson Pumps.  Fred was really one of a kind.
