2022. She began her retirement in Paradise much sooner than she and her family would
have wanted, but we take comfort in knowing that she is with our Lord.
Geri was born October 22, 1963 at the Memorial Community Health Hospital in Blair,
Nebraska to Richard and Angeline McNish. She and her three siblings grew up in Tekamah,
Nebraska. Geri went to Tekamah Herman High School and graduated in 1982. After
graduating, she attended Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. In 1990, she moved to
Arizona and resided in Scottsdale. She was married to Frank Leedy from 1999 until 2011
and they had one beautiful daughter together, Shealyn, born in 2002. In Arizona, she was a
marketing representative for multiple resort companies before she worked for Diamond
Resorts International on their OPC team. She was a top producer and loved working with
her team there. Most recently, she worked for Parker & Sons and was quickly promoted. Her
favorite pastimes include trick riding and playing the piano. She loved shopping, traveling,
being outdoors, and spending time with her daughter.
Geri is survived by her daughter Shealyn Leedy, mother Angeline McNish, sisters Dixie
Wimer and Tonya O’Dell, and brother Ross McNish. She was preceded in death by her father
Richard.

“Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, there's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby…
skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true. Someday I'll wish
upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me, where troubles melt like
lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me…” - Judy Garland
