Gilbert married Frances Lopez Mendoza on December 26, 1953. He worked as a steel worker for 35 years with Capital Castings. He served our country in the US Army and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife, Frances Lopez Mendoza; his son Ruben Mendoza of Phoenix; his daughter Rosemary (Robert) Madril of Queen Creek; his grandson James Gilbert Arreol; his sister Inez Daniels of Mesa; his brothers David Mendoza of Mesa, Lupe Mendoza of Mesa, Frank Mendoza of Mesa and Nacho Mendoza of Mesa; he is preceded in death by his son Gilbert Michael Mendoza and brother Antonio Mendoza Jr.
