Gladys Augusta Herrmann Morrison

Gladys Augusta Herrmann Morrison passed away on June 25, 2011, in Gilbert, Arizona. Born in Detroit, Michigan, to August and Mary (nee Harder) Herrmann, Gladys arrived on December 31, 1918. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She married the love of her life, William Morrison, on June 1, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. Together, they built a wonderful life, and had three children. In her family, Gladys was known as the matriarch. Preceding Gladys in death were her parents, Mary and August Herrmann, sister, Hazel MacEarchern, son, William Peter Morrison, great-grandson, Payne Humphrey, husband, William Morrison, Daughter, Marilyn Wheeler, and grandstep-son Donald Page. She is survived by daughter Dorothy (Walter) Page, grandchildren, Vaughn (Lorie) Meatte, Dawn (Ralpheal) Piche, Stacey (Mike) Sirotnyak, Scott (Stacy) Dobbs, Kimberly (Mathew) Shanklin, and Ronald Page, great-grandchildren, Amber Meatte, Lindsay Meatte, Shelby Dobbs, Keith Dobbs, Ein Humphrey, Zackary Shanklin, Benjamin Shanklin, and John Page, and several nieces and nephews, great, great great, great great great, and great great great great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Christler Funeral Home in Prudenville, Michigan.
