Gloria Richards

Gloria received her education from Bonnie Brennan Elementary, Winslow Junior High, and graduated from Winslow High School. Gloria received a track scholarship to Mesa Community College, where she went on to go to San Diego College and to UCLA for her Bachelor’s Degree.

Gloria went on to own her own auto detailing shop.

Gloria has one child, Brittany Lavern Richards.

Gloria’s parents Elbert Richards Sr. and Climmintine Richards preceded her in death, along with three sisters: Corine Hendrieth, Margarett Caraveo, and Emory Askerness, and one brother: Arthor Richards. Gloria is survived by two sisters: Priscilla Blackwell and Clara McClure, and two brothers: Elbert Richards, Jr. and Jimmy Richards.

Gloria leaves in God’s care five grandkids: Leah, Beatrice, Lemone, Christopher, and Nariya, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a village.

A Visitation for Gloria will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Melcher Roses, 43 South Stapley Drive, Mesa, AZ 85204, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.
