Gordon Phillips passed away on February 21, 2019. Gordon was born September 7, 1936 in Hartford, Connecticut. He graduated from The Gilbert School and enlisted in the United States Air Force where he developed an interest in electronics. Upon discharge from the armed forces, Gordon enrolled in the Ward School of Electronics where he pursued his education in electrical engineering. His career took him to Syracuse, New York where he met his wife of 47 years, Marilyn. During his career as an electronic technician and component engineer, he worked for General Electric (New York, Kansas, and Arizona), Raytheon (Massachusetts), and Motorola (Arizona). Gordon enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and restoring antique radios. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Mark), Amanda (Michael), and Becky (Chad); his step-sister Dallas (Steve), and half-brother Jeffrey. His six grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, Hayden, Addison, Delaney, and Emma were his pride and joy! With great sadness, he will be missed. Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens located at 400 S.
