Guadalupe Vela, age 64 of Mesa, AZ passed away on May 24, 2010 in Mesa. She was born Dec. 12, 1945 in Mexico City, Mexico. Survivors include her sons: Gabriel Gutierrez Vela, Jose Luis (Lorena) Gutierrez Vela, Abel Gutierrez Vela; Sisters Aurora Vela, Beatric Vela, Paula Vela, Bertha Vela, Magdilena Vela, Celia Vela and the late Dolores Vela; Brothers Leonardo Vela, Mariano Vela, Victor Vela and the late Roberto Vela. Also survived by grandsons Joshua and Joseph. Visitation Thursday from 1-9 pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd. (at Power) in Mesa with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Mass Friday 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1224 S. Power Rd., Mesa. Memorial contributions to your favorite charity.
