Harold S. Sibert "Stan", 86 passed away at his home in Queen Creek, AZ. on July 13th, 2010. He was born on Dec. 9, 1923, in Washington, PA., and graduated from Washington High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 1/2 years...mainly in the South Pacific. Stan relocated to Phoenix in 1953, and was a resident of Phoenix or nearby cities until his death. He was a member of the Millwrights Local for 55 years, and a member of the Pinal County Elks Lodge for 43. Stan is survived by his son Harold S Sibert, Jr. of Tonopah, AZ., a granddaughter Nicole Casteel of Georgia, 3 great grandchildren, a sister Joan Wilcox, of Mesa, AZ., and a brother Walter of Alta Loma, CA. Services will be held at Melcher Mission Chapel at 6625 E Main St. in Mesa on Monday, July 19th at 9:30 am. Burial service to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, 2300 W. Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley. Arrangements entrusted to Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel.
