Hattie was born February 04, 1921, to Lee Franklin and Minnie Jane (Lemery) Tadlock. She was the youngest of 9 children, all of whom preceded her in death.
On March 05, 1949, she married United States Army Captain Curtis F. Williams, in Richmond, Indiana. This union was blessed by five children. Mr. Williams passed on to glory on November 04, 1984.
Throughout her life, Hattie was a mover, a shaker, and a doer. Both following her husband's military career, and also her professional career, she has been in 48 states and traveled to 6 overseas countries. She had been a professional assistant for Headstart, NYC Fiscal Offices; O'Conner Coffee Company, Scottsdale School System; as well as a professional government assistant to the Transportation Division of the Department of Defense; the War Manpower Commission, Troop Movement Division; and Secretary to Chief of Staff for Fort Mason,
Hattie's family always being foremost in her heart, she served lovingly as Den Mother, 4-H Leader, Boy Scout Scoutmaster Assistant, Little League/Khoury League Scorekeeper, Band Boosters' officer, National as well as local P.T.A. Officer, Scottsdale Education Office Professionals (SEOP), and Vice-President then President of Arizona Educational Officer Professionals (AEOP). But the job-position-profession she loved the most was Mother.
Hattie leaves behind 2 adoring daughters, Cathy Lynn and Patti Jayne, 4 loving, thankful sons, James Edward, Curtis Franklin, Tex Lee, and Yancey Roger; along with 19 grand-children, 38 great-grandchildren, and 17 great great grand-children.
