Helen D Coffman

Helen Coffman, 100, of Chandler, Az, Entered into Heaven on December 23, 2014.

She was born July 20, 1914 to Francis and Charles Price near Berwyn, Neb. She

was the oldest of three children. Brothers Paul and Roy Price and parents

preceded her.

Helen married Claire Coffman, a farmer, rancher, businessman, on December 7,

1933. They were happily married for 68 years, until Claire at 91 went to be with the

Lord on February 2, 2002.

In 1960 Helen and Claire moved from Neb. to Mesa, Az. In their retirement years

they loved to be with family, play cards, dance, jeep outings, and travel in their motor

homes.

Survivors include three children; Yvonne Smith, Boise, Idaho, Kay Crawley (Bud),

Tempe, Az, and Gene (Jeannie) Coffman, Chandler, Az.; 9 grandchildren; 13

great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Helen accepted the Lord when she was a young woman and was a long time member of

Grace Community Church in Tempe.

Family services will be in the spring at Vallecito Lake, Co. where they had a

cabin for many years. Donations can be directed to Valley of the Sun Hospice who cared for Helen like she was their own Mother. Melcher Mortuary made the arrangements
