Helen Lilleheim

Helen Lilleheim(Gedrose) of San Tan Valley AZ passed away peacefully December 7, 2015 in Mesa, AZ, after suffering a major stroke on Thanksgiving. Helen was born in Cathay, ND on October 27,1924. She was the fifth child of Tannes/Hanna Gedrose.

Leaving North Dakota at age 18 she moved to Brooklyn NY. There she met Jakob(Jack) Lilleheim and they were united in marriage on April 25, 1948.

Moving from NY the day after the wedding they first resided in Rochester MN, then onto New Rockford, ND eventually ending up in Spokane, WA for 59 years. In 2010, with her daughters, she moved to San Tan Valley AZ.

Helen is survived by her 3 children: Arlys of San Tan Valley, Ken of Mesa and Joy of San Tan Valley, 4 grandchildren: Kristi,Traci, Joshua and Kristofer, 3 + great-grandchildren: Teyah, Amalexia, Amelia and one yet to be determined. 1 brother Clifford, 2 sisters Elsie and Doris, 2 brother-in-laws, 3 sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by Jack in December 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Tumina and Camilla, 3 brothers Elmer, Oscar and Reuben.

Helen was a devout Christian who loved the Lord.

No services will be held at this time but interment will be in New Rockford ND in summer 2016.
