My grandmother, Inez “Coto” Lespron, was born April 10, 1931 in Douglas, Arizona. She was baptized in Jesus’ name by Pastor Ulpiano Alcantar, at a convention of the Delaware Church in Tucson, Arizona.
Grandma married, Pedro Lespron, on April 1, 1950. The Lord blessed their marriage with four children: Peter, Linda Kristine, George and Paul Lespron.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord and was an example to her family. Although grandpa came from a Christian family, grandma was first to received Christ in her heart in their household.
In 1967 along with her husband and family they moved from Tucson, Arizona to Phoenix, there they became members of First Phoenix Apostolic Church. During her life, Sis. Coto was known for her hard work in the kingdom of God.
In 1978 they moved to Mesa, Arizona where the Lespron family helped establish a new work in their home alongside Bishop Gilbert Diaz. Sis. Coto and Bro. Pedro built and helped establish the work in Mesa, which was started in their home. Grandma directed a group of four women in fundraising efforts, selling tamales and peanut brittle to purchase and payoff the land and build Mesa Apostolic Church, where she was a faithful member until the end.
During her last days she was surrounded by family, close friends, and her family in the Lord. She left us wonderful legacy. She was an example for our lives, sharing her passion for the work of the Lord. She fought the good fight of faith, she finished her race, she is victorious!
On the 25th day of December, 2022 she was called home to the arms of her Loving Savior.
