Born on July 6, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, Jackie lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and deep love for her family and friends. She was a devoted member of East University Church of God in Mesa, Arizona, where she found fellowship, strength, and spiritual community.
Jackie will be remembered for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and the special bonds she shared with those she loved. She treasured time with her family and was a loyal and cherished friend to many, especially her best friend and adopted family member, Dr. Cindy Holmes-Bacon.
Jackie loved sharing conversations about her favorite television show, Dancing with the Stars, and always looked forward to discussing the latest performances and contestants. She also had a special love for Christmas, her favorite holiday, and delighted in the warmth, traditions, decorations, and joy that the season brought each year. She had a special affection for her beloved cats, Hazel and Squeaky, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years.
Jackie is survived by her sister; Darlene, her brother; Vincent (Elaine), her nephew; James Jr. (Sandy), her nieces; Jennifer (David), Marijayne, Susan, Sherry (Tom), Dawn (Gerry), Heather, Vanessa, and her great-nephews; Liam and Brandon and many more great nephews and nieces.
