James Dodds passed away June 8th, 2026 in Payson,AZ at the age of 91. He was born in Santa Barbara, CA to Clifford and Sylva Lou Dodds in 1934.
James joined the Air Force in 1953 where he found his love of aircraft mechanics and continued his career till the age of 89 and reluctantly had to give it up due to a cancer diagnosis.
He was preceded in death by his wife Miriam Dodds, parents and brother Richard Dodds.
He is survived by his children Teresa Booth and husband Ronnie, Larry Dodds and wife Sandy, Kristine McCormack and Donna Vititow(Robbie). Grandchildren Rusty Booth(Heather), Tonya Hardin(Eric), Aaron McCormack(Amber), Andrew McCormack, Chelsea Overstreet(Paul), Taylor Childress(Tanner) and Makenzie Cruz(Derrek) and 12 great-grandchildren.
