James Charles Novak, 88, Chandler, Arizona (formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. James (Jim) was born on February 7, 1935, to Wenceslaus Novak and wife Emma, nee Lorenz in Fillmore County, NE. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 55 years, Norma; sisters, Adelaide Gudlin, Bette Stepanchuk, and Rosalie Hamm; brother, Henry Novak. He is survived by his daughter, Shelly Novak; son, Tony Novak; sister, Mary Hummel; brothers, Fred Novak, and Frank Novak. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
