Jane L. Heberling

Jane L. Heberling, born August 16, 1936, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2015 from a long illness. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Heberling. Jane is survived by her daughter Paula Barker, Albuquerque, NM, son Michael Heberling, daughter Lisa Heberling, daughter Judy Chovan, daughter Janine Heberling and son Don Heberling, all from Gilbert, AZ. She also had many grandchildren, JoAnna Heberling-Carter, Caryn Heberling, Steven Douglas Heberling, James Barker and Jaime Chovan and great-grandchildren, Aaleah Carter, Jaylin Carter, Corbyn Carter, Caydon Pearson, Brandon Pearson and Cassidy Pearson. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Jane was a very warm and loving mom, grandma & great-grandma. She always took the time to listen to what you had to say about your day at work or problems that you might have. She would always lecture on what you could have done in any certain situation. Teaching us all to play cards was one of the best things that she did as we all really like to play "3-13" and "Shanghei." She also loved to keep the score to insure that there would be no cheating, as she would't play with cheaters.

Her favorite hobbies were needlepoint, doing interlocking puzzles, Sudoko and watching her DVR programs.

A Memorial Service and celebration of Jane's life will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with the burial at 2:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements in care of Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care.
