Janet the kind friendly Dear women welcomed Ted and I to our home here at Encanterra.  She and George were so giving of their hearts. We shared time together laughing and enjoying each other in our friendship. I will keep you in my heart.

Dear Geoff,  Stephanie, George, and family,

Words cannot describe how sorry I am for your loss. Janet was such a lovely woman and I loved having her as a neighbor! From family college and NFL TV game days, to holidays, to the Disney World trip, our NH lake day, and just hanging out as neighbors- she was so loved. Her spunky personality and humor brought happiness to all those around her. We were certainly blessed to call her our neighbor and friend. Much love to you all.

In Memorial To Our Friend Janet

Janet holds a special place in our family’s memories of life in Hingham.  A dynamo with a charming southern accent, we recall Janet's enthusiasm pursuing interests from gourmet cooking, tennis, decorating, and a wide variety of social clubs, as well as running her own travel business. We remember sharing moments together cheering football on tv, feasting at backyard barbeques, boating in Hingham Harbor, and visiting Disney World.  Most of all, we remember that Janet was a proud protective mother of her children, Stephanie and Geoff, as well as her fur-babies, their devoted dogs.  Janet was a colorful, unforgettable force, an endearing friend to us all, who will never be forgotten.  We are very sorry to hear that Janet has passed, but may many happy memories bring you comfort and peace.

When I first moved to Arizona from California , Janet was one of the first people to welcome me with open arms. She was supportive and generous with her time.  She became one of my favorite people!!!

Janet and I at pre-Santa Fe Opera dinner. What a wonderful week-end shared with Don and Sandy plus dinner and piano bar evening with Gloria and Alan. 

I’m so sad Janet Dillard has passed away.
I have so many great memories of her.  
She ALWAYS welcomed me like I was family, and I have treasured that.  
The last time I was with her was such a good time, eating delicious home-cooked food and sharing fun stories around the dinner table while on vacation together in the Outer Banks.  
I’ve always enjoyed chatting with your mom, Steph.  I know she didn’t remember our exact conversation, but it was your mom who helped give me the courage to move out to LA and explore the world while we were still young.  I’ll never forget her words of wisdom.  

I love the photos you have posted on Facebook.  I hope all the memories bring you, your dad and family peace as you go through this tough time.  I love you so much.
