Janet Lee Rosales

Janet Lee Rosales was born on January 27, 1953 in Ogden, Utah. She was the daughter of Paul Haynes Hamblin and Barbara Jean Hamblin (Twitchell). Later in Janet’s childhood, her family moved to Clearfield, Utah where she attended elementary school, junior high, and Clearfield High School. In 1970 Janet married her husband of 48 years, Conrad Rosales, who was stationed at Hill Air Force Base. When Conrad was discharged from the Air Force in 1972, Conrad and Janet moved to Mesa, Arizona where they raised their two children Christa Harris (Rosales) and Paul Rosales. Janet was a homemaker and cared for their two children for the next two decades. Janet loved being a mother, but her favorite role in life was grandmother to her two granddaughters Ashlee Bailey (Harris) and Nicole Maldonado (Harris). She was very present in their lives from babysitting, to attending swim meets, piano recitals, soccer games, chorus concerts, cross country meets, and track meets. Nothing brought Janet more joy than watching her granddaughters grow up and to see their many achievements.

Janet was a woman of great faith. Janet gave her heart to the Lord in 1991. She attended Mesa First Assembly of God for many years where she sang in the choir and ladies vocal ensemble. Singing was one of Janet’s greatest passions, along with playing the guitar. Janet wrote many praise and worship songs, played some of her songs for the church, and even recorded one of her songs titled All My Praise. She was not afraid to share her faith with others, and she knew in heart that she would stand face to face with her Lord and Savior when she passed. Janet entered her heavenly rest on June 9, 2026. Her family is comforted to know that they will see her again one day, and that she is now free from pain and suffering.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Barbara Hamblin and younger brother James Dean Hamblin. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Mathew Hamblin (wife Julie) and sister Paula Cowley (late husband James Cowley), children Christa Harris (husband Douglas) and Paul Rosales (wife Stephanie), and granddaughters Ashlee Bailey (husband Jacob) and Nicole Maldonado (husband Emanuel).
