He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Freeman; his mother Maria Bates; stepfather Tony Bates; sister Gina Webb; and many extended family members and friends.
Jeff dedicated 21 years of his career to Chase, where he held various positions and especially enjoyed his role as a Performance Coach, mentoring and supporting his colleagues. For the last five years, he found great passion working alongside Tommy Fellows with the Colorado Ped Patrol.
A lifelong prankster, Jeff brought laughter wherever he went. Since childhood, he delighted in hiding scary masks to startle his mother, and he continued pulling good-natured pranks on family members and friends throughout his life. His joyful spirit made every family gathering brighter and more memorable. He loved his wife Jennifer dearly-- especially sharing their passion for going to concerts together-- and cherished their life as a couple. He also had a deep love for his pets.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a dedicated professional, a passionate advocate, a fun-loving prankster, and a man whose warmth, humor, and zest for life touched everyone around him.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18,2026 at 10:00 am at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care in Mesa, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Jeff's Memory to the Colorado Ped Patrol. (cppfam.com)
