

He was born in Anna, Illinois on December 29, 1954 to Roy C. West Jr. and Loreen Madeira. Jeff was raised in Paducah, Kentucky. Where he developed a love for playing baseball, instruments, as well as playing drums in his bands, Prelude and Legend. His sports car MGB started a life-long need for speed.
In 1973 he was married and welcomed his first child Jennifer. He found his calling in being a father and family man, working as a boilermaker to support his family. He made the move out west to Arizona in 1981 where started working as an electrician.
He remarried in 1985 and in 1988 he welcomed his son Cameron. Throughout the years he spent time riding dirt bikes, traveling, playing billiards, and spending time with family.
Jeff will be remembered for his kind heart and loving nature. He was willing to help out anyone and give them the shirt off his back. He would give away his last penny if he thought someone needed it more. He was always ready with a joke, and a smile. He lite up every room he walked in to. His family was his all-time joy. Jeff loved his children and grandkids beyond measure.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer, son Cameron (Jordyn), sister Jackie (Dale), brother Jim, two grandsons, three granddaughters, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, mother and brother Jerry.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Advantage Melcher Chapel of the Roses, 43 South Stapley Drive, Mesa, Arizona 85204.
The family will be honoring his final wish to return home to his final resting place in the family plot in the spring of 2025.
