Joan Marie Faldtz was born November 14, 1951 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Marjorie and Marvin Schroeder.
She married James Millard Faldtz on November 26, 1977 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jim and Jo gave birth to their daughter, Alicia Janae Faldtz, on September 23, 1980.
In January of 1981 they moved to Mesa, Arizona and Jo began working at Arizona State University in September 1986. Jo worked at College of Business and School of International Letter and Cultures (SILC) during her time at ASU. She retired in March, 2017.
Jo was a very caring and loving wife and mother to Jim and Alicia. Her hobby and passion were cooking and entertaining. She loved hosting and cooking for all the holidays and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cruising on various destinations.
A celebration of life for Jo will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, Arizona 85202. Refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the services. A rosary service will be available at 10:00 AM at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, Arizona 85202.
There will also be a service in Lincoln, Nebraska the first of next year.
