Jorge Yepez Sandoval

Jorge Y. Sandoval, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, passed away on July 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in El Reyes, Michoacán, Mexico, Jorge's life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and profound love for his family.

In early 70’s, Jorge moved to the United States from Mexico, building a life full of achievements and cherished moments. He graduated from DeVry, fondly referring to it as the "Tower of Power, The College of Knowledge." Jorge had been married to his devoted wife, Dolores Sandoval, for 25 wonderful years.

Jorge is survived by his wife, Dolores; his children, Mario, Marcos, and Jessica; his grandchildren, Damien, Angelo, Michael, Mia, Sierenity, Noah, and Ariella; his siblings, Amelia, Maria Elena, Hilda, Maria, Veronica, Gabriel and his mother, Isabel. He will reunite with his brother, Pablo, sister, Elizabeth, and father, Gabriel Sr.. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering support, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.

Jorge's journey began in the fields of Mexico, where he worked as a child, a tradition he continued upon his arrival in the United States. His dedication and work ethic were evident in everything he did, including his distinguished careers at Motorola and Intel.

Known for his willingness to help anyone without question, Jorge's kindness and compassion touched countless lives. He was always there to lend a hand, embodying the true spirit of generosity.

A passionate sports fan, Jorge loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees, Chivas from Guadalajara, Mexico, and Arizona State University (ASU). His enthusiasm for his favorite teams was infectious and brought his family and friends together for many memorable moments. Jorge also absolutely loved hunting Coues deer with his buddies in Globe, grilling, and listening to Mexican music, and creating cherished memories in the great outdoors.

A memorial service will be held to honor Jorge's memory, celebrating his life and the legacy he leaves behind. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. A get-together will occur following services at the Sandoval residence, additional information will be provided at the funeral.
