Joyce E. Olinger

Joyce Rabel Olinger, 77, of Mesa, Arizona, entered into rest on July 3, 2019. Joyce was born May 23, 1942, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Carl and Mary (McLaughlin) Daugherty. She attended Madison High School graduating in 1960. She worked at United Telephone Co. before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona. At that time she was employed at Motorola, Inc, Scottsdale, AZ. After moving back to Mansfield, OH, she worked at Motor Coach Industries, Loudonville as assistant to the plant manager until she retired in May 2007. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to cook, sew and hunt mushrooms. Her hobbies included gardening, quilt making, and embroidery.

Beloved wife of the late William D. "Bill" Olinger; dear mother of Kathy (Brian) Wolf, Wendy (Lonnie) Smith and Robert Rabel; grandmother of Brittany Wolf, Dane (Senah) Wolf, and Landon and Nathan Smith; great grandmother of Beau Wolf; sister of Beverly (Dale) Oswalt, and the late Carol (Bob survives) Neutzling. Our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. Joyce attended the Broadway Christian Church of Mesa, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate donations in her memory to the Hospice of the Valley, Lund Home, 1982 E. Woodside Ct., Gilbert, Arizona 85297, or to Broadway Christian Church, 7335 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85208.
