I wanted to share a short memory of beautiful Karen. I was probably about 10 or so and Tom, Karen and the kids came to visit us on the farm in LaSalle. We would all sit at the table for meals. I sat down one morning and there was this pile of WHITE STUFF on my plate. What’s this white stuff I asked? Karen said “GRITS”!! EAT THEM!! She then went on to explain everything about grits with her Georgia accent and made me eat all of it!! Rest In Peace Karen 💕
