Karen Patricia Lutz

Karen Patricia Lutz, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born on July 14, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio. Karen was the second oldest of 5 siblings to Dorothy Martin. She moved to Arizona in 1963 and was a long-time resident of Mesa, Arizona.

Karen was known for her uplifting personality and always made people smile. Karen’s soul was lit up when it came to her family, always wanted happiness and peace, and had a special love for them. Karen was the laughter that was so needed in the world. She had a passion for butterflies and hummingbirds as they will come to visit. Karen is no longer in pain or sick, so be happy for her!

Karen was a loving mother, sister, mother-in-law, auntie, grandmother to three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her daughter Amber Elsberry (Mitchell), her three grandchildren, Amie Gay (Dalton), Lexi Curtis (Carl), Auston Elsberry, and four great grandchildren Tatum, Harper, Carter, and Lane, her sister Sharon Joles (Gene), brother Bruce Evans, and sister Monti Martinez (Jose).

Karen’s family plans a ‘Celebration of Life’ at Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St., Mesa AZ 85201 on December 21, 2024, at 11 am.
