She was born in Buffalo, New York on April 22, 1961. Kathy graduated from Amherst Central High School. She was married to Scot N. Gowans on October 1, 1982 in Amherst, New York.
Kathy had a career in Law Enforcement for the Amherst Police Department and the Tempe Police Department. She had a passion for knitting, crafting, and baking.
She is survived by her spouse, Scot N. Gowans; Lynn Angelo (Dave Ballard); Sandi (Angelo) Pietrzak (deceased)(Chris Pietrzak); Karen (Angelo) Howard (Bruce Howard); Julie (Angelo) Okun (Alan Okun); David Angelo; and Tom Angelo (Megan). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Joe J. Angelo Jr. and her mother Jerri Angelo.
